If your child or young person is experiencing difficulties at home or in school that affect their academic progress, social interactions, or communication, and you are unsure whether they should be assessed for autism or ADHD, we offer a screening assessment to help. You will meet with our Neurodevelopmental Screening Practitioner and be asked to complete some screening questionnaires.

After the screening, you will also receive a short report summarizing the findings and we will help you make an informed decision about pursuing a full assessment.

If you choose to proceed with a full assessment, the cost of the screening will be deducted from the total price of the comprehensive evaluation.

We use standardised assessment tools based on the criteria for autism in the DSM-5, such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R). Both assessment tools are based on the DSM-5 criteria. We may also ask you to complete additional questionnaires to better understand the young person`s unique profile.

Once all assessments are complete, we will arrange a feedback meeting with you. During this meeting, we will discuss what we consider to be your child’s strengths and also areas of difficulty as well as any appropriate recommendations. A full, comprehensive report will be given to you outlining all our findings. 

We will also provide an accessible report for the young person.
